Numbers are a part of life – we are numbered in hospital when we’re born, we have a birth date – time, day, month, year; we live in a house that usually has a number – probably not number 13. We have National Insurance numbers, car numbers, the bus we catch. We know how many hats we have, how many days holiday.
Numerology can provide ‘your’ number: add up all the number of your d.o.b. to reach one single number.
Allocate a number to letters of the alphabet and do the same addition with your name – you can change your name to give a better result eg The name James can be changed to Jim, Jimmy, Jamie, Jas, Jay.
The Workshop
Exercise 1 – 5 minutes
Choose a number from 0 to 21.
Think of everything that number means to you – in your life, in sayings/proverbs etc.
Jot down notes or spider diagrams about your number.
Exercise 2 – 5 minutes
You have your number.
Look at the Tarot cards below. They are in numerical order from 0 – 21.
Find your number and study that card. Consider the image in ‘your’ card.
List or spider diagram any ideas that come to mind.

Read the information, in the chart below, which gives a brief explanation of the meaning of the card. Line A gives the positive meaning, Line B gives the negative meaning.
