I put a bit of myself into every story, with the emphasis being on the story. I am not high literature. All my references are from travel, popular culture and history. My first self-published book follows a Cambodian police detective, it is light on police protocol focusing more on the current political zeitgeist. So far I’ve visited seventy-six countries with a goal of a hundred, which takes time out of my writing.
